Dental Insurance

For those patients who carry dental insurance, we will gladly process the claims for you so that any applicable insurance benefits can be applied towards your treatment.  When recommending treatment for our patients, Dr. Omeltschenko relies on his years of real world expertise and training, not guidelines established by an insurance company and for this reason we do not participate with restrictive HMO or DMO type plans.

Traditional (Indemnity) Insurance plans do not stipulate where you have to go, so you are free to see the dentist of your choice (including us!)

PPO Insurance plans also allow you to see the dentist of your choice, though coverage may be slightly different if you choose an out-of-network dentist.  We are contracted with several PPO plans, making us an “In-Network” provider with those plans.  Some of the more limiting plans we have chosen to not contract with, making us “Out-of-Network” with these plans.  Many of our patients carry an insurance for which we are “Out-of-Network” but they have found very little difference in what their benefits provide and would rather be a part of a dental office that provides them the level of service they have come to expect, than one that they choose simply based on an insurance list.

A DMO or HMO plan will only allow patients to receive insurance coverage if the patient goes to a dentist on a restricted list.  Of course, we would still be happy to serve patients with a DMO or HMO plan, however these plans will not cover any of the costs of our services.

Our commitment is to serve you and look out for your best needs, not what is best for the insurance company!
